台湾的国家数位典藏计划

目前台灣所推展的「挑戰2008:國家發展重點計畫」中包含了「數位典藏國家型科技計畫」,其目的在於將文化數位化後,更能容易地流傳與運用,提升整體社會與文化之水準;2008年起「數位典藏國家型科技計畫」與「數位學習國家型科技計畫」合併,成立「數位典藏與數位學習國家型科技計畫」。目前有中央研究院、國立臺灣大學、國立故宮博物院、國立歷史博物館、國立自然科學博物館、國立中央大學等臺灣學術與博物館機構,投入至此一計畫中。目前臺灣數位典藏成果可分為生物、考古、地質、人類學、檔案、拓片、器物、書畫、地圖與遙測、善本、漢籍、新聞、影音、建築與加值型計畫共十五項主題,並且已有統合型瀏覽網站可供一般網路使用者針對個人有興趣的資料進行檢索。未來這些數位典藏成果除可供學術研究之外,亦可作為教育推廣及產業應用之用。

 

死海书卷

死海古卷(或稱死海經卷、死海書卷、死海文書),是為目前最古老的希伯來文聖經抄本(舊約),除了《聖經·以斯帖記》以外的《舊約全書》全部內容都能在死海古卷中找到,還含有一些今天雖然被天主教承認、但被基督教新教認為是外典(包括次經及偽經)的經卷,此外,當中也有一些不是《聖經》的文獻。此古卷出土於公元1947年的死海附近的庫姆蘭(Khirbet Qumran,或譯昆蘭或坎巒),故名為死海古卷。古卷主要是羊皮紙,部分是紙莎草紙。抄寫的文字以希伯來文為主,當中也有少數由希臘文、亞蘭文、納巴提文和拉丁文寫成。 一般認為這是公元後66年~公元後70年猶太人反對羅馬的大起義,被羅馬鎮壓失敗後,猶太教文化面臨滅頂之災,一些猶太教的苦行教徒將古卷埋在死海附近乾燥的地方,以求保全本民族文化。這些苦行教徒就是艾塞尼教派(Essenes)的庫姆蘭社團(昆蘭社團),不過也有人對此提出異議,提出這裡是奮銳黨的軍事秘密要塞的假說。

在Google 公司的帮助下,死海書卷在2010年全部數字化上線。

  • Europeana
    A multi-lingual online collection of millions of digital items, Europeana includes treasures from European museums, libraries, archives, and multi-media collections. Among the institutions represented are the British Library, the Louvre, and the Rijksmuseum.
  • British History Online
    Includes full-text editions of primary sources, such as the journals of the Houses of Parliament. Most documents are from between 1500 and 1850.
  • British Library Online Gallery
    Offers access to 30,000 images from various medieval books and selected exhibition items. Also includes the facility to “turn the pages” of many important works, including the Magna Carta and Leonardo da Vinci’s notebooks.

  • Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes
    Sponsored by the University of Alicante, this site is the largest open access repository of Spanish language historical texts and literature from the Ibero-American world.
  • Internet Library of Early Journals
    Contains 18th and 19th digital versions of several well known English journals, including Notes and Queries, Annual Register, and Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society.
  • European History Primary Sources
    This site provides links to other primary source archives that primarily include documents from European history. The site is searchable by country, language, period, subject, and the type of source.
  • Avalon Project
    Documents in Law, History and Diplomacy. Documents include pre-18th century – 20th century.
  • Internet Sacred Text
    Contains primary and secondary sources in the public domain.
